The Alligators moved their record to 8-0 for the season with two easy wins over the Gophers. In game one they scored nine runs in the first three frames in a 12-1 lopsided win. Dominik Wulf and Moritz Buttgereit each drove in three. Chris Beck scored four times. Jens Cornelsen’s no hit bid ended on a seventh inning solo shot by Sebastian Jaap. In the second match Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez struck out 13 in six innings to lead Solingen to a 8-2 win. A four-run rally in the sixth blew the game wide open.

The Wanderers celebrated two wins in a day night doubleheader against the Cardinals. In game one a four-run third brought them a commanding lead on their way to a 7-1 win. In the second match Roy Wesche first tied the contest in the ninth with a two-run single and then scored the game-winner in the twelfth on a walk-off double by Aljosha Heller.

The Untouchables escaped Hamburg with two victories, remaining undefeated two weeks before their duel with leader Solingen. Two runs each in the fifth and seventh led to a 7-4 win in game one. Kody Hightower highlighted the game with a two-run homerun for the Stealers. In the second match Paderborn needed a ninth-inning solo homerun to win 4-3. The HSV had tied the game through three runs in the fourth.

Regensburg also remained undefeated in week three of the German Baseball Bundesliga. In Mainz the reigning champion scored four runs in the third en route to a 7-2 win against the A’s. Matt Vance, Ludwig Glaser and Klaus Hopfensperger each scored two runs. Pitchers Benedikt Antwi and Philipp Hoffschild combined for a two-hitter. Eddie Aucoin pitched seven scoreless innings in the second part of the doubleheader, leading the Buchbinder Legionaere to a 5-0 shutout win.

The Indians won both games of their local duel in Munich against the rivals from Haar. Paul Waterman pitched eight solid innings in game one to lead Gauting to a 4-2 victory. In the second match the outcome was decided in the ninth, when first Johannes Jung drove in Lasse Bischoff with a dribbler to third to tie the game and then Trey Hendricks ripped a RBI double to seal the 4-3 comeback win for the Indians. Trey Eriksen hit a two-run homer for the Disciples.

Heidenheim recovered from the two losses against Regensburg on Easter Monday with two lopsided victories against the Hornets. In game one they scored five runs in the third en route to a 9-3 win. Ryan Lilly and Ray Stokes homered. In part two of the Sunday afternoon matinee Robert Gruber led the Heidekoepfe to a 11-4 victory with a four-for-four performance. Andy Janzen drove in three.
